Tom Holland has admitted that Spider-Man‘s temporary split from the Marvel Cinematic Universe was the “most stressful time” of his life.
Disney and Sony’s failure to reach an agreement to keep Spider-Man part of the MCU may have only lasted a few weeks, but that didn’t stop mass panic breaking out amongst fans, who promptly demanded the webslinger be brought ‘home’.
However, not only did Sony and Disney jointly confirm in late September that Spider-Man was once again part of the MCU, they did so by announcing a third Tom Holland-led Spidey movie.
Now, during a panel with Spider-Man: Far From Home co-star Jake Gyllenhaal at ACE Comic Con Midwest, Tom has revealed that the whole ordeal was a particularly stressful time for him.

After telling the audience that the build up to his ‘Umbrella’ performance on Lip Sync Battle was the most stressful week of his life, he then paused and changed his mind.
“Well… maybe the whole Disney/Sony thing when that happened, that was a bit of a stressful week.
“I’m sure there’s some contractual obliged thing where I can’t say anything about anything, so I’m just going to keep my mouth shut.”
