The second To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before movie isn’t even out yet, but it looks like a third film might already be about to start filming.
A fan posted apparent photos of the cast filming dated June 26, which falls outside of the schedule production date. Perhaps that was just some promotional material that they did last month?
The third movie will likely be based on the third and final part of Jenny Han’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before book series, titled Always and Forever, Lara Jean. The story focuses on the titular protagonist’s end of high school and her struggles with her relationship with Peter, as well as the pressures of going to higher education.
The DGC documents claim that Michael Fimognari is directing the third instalment, after acting as cinematographer on the first film and making his directorial debut with the second.
Speaking of that second film, based off Han’s novel PS: I Still Love You You, it began filming in British Columbia in March of this year and wrapped up in May. They really aren’t wasting any time, are they?
Netflix hasn’t announced a release date for the second movie yet, but seeing as the first one came out in August last year, we reckon it’ll probably about the same time frame in 2020.
