Want to be an elite gamer? Microsoft is giving you a chance to upgrade your kit with a brand new Xbox Elite controller.
The games company announced the Xbox Elite Wireless controller Series 2 during the E3 Xbox conference in LA, highlighting all the new features that make it a serious pro peripheral.
The Series 2 is a massive improvement on the old Elite handset, with a longer total play-time, more customisation and better control over how you play your games.
You can even make the hair-triggers even shorter than before, cutting down the amount of time it takes for you to pull the trigger and shoot at your enemies in-game.
The Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is available for pre-order right now, hitting shop shelves on November 13, 2019.
The handset will cost £159.99 and you can buy it from Microsoft direct as of today.

The Elite Series 2 has a host of new features. You can adjust the tension of the thumb-sticks for more precision, which could come in handy if you’re looking to improve your aim in FPS games.
As previously mentioned, you can make the hair-trigger locks shorter. This reduces the amount of pressure you need to make a trigger press register, meaning you can fire your weapon faster than your enemy.
You can also set up preset accounts depending on the games you play.
For example, if you’ve configured your controller for the perfect Apex Legends response, and then created a setup to help you play Forza Horizon 4 with more precision, you can easily switch between presets at the flick of a switch without having to completely reconfigure your controller.
It also has a 40-hour capacity re-chargeable battery built-in to the controller, helping you keep going through long gaming sessions.
The Xbox Elite Wireless controller Series 2 will release in the UK on November 13.
