A new modification in video game The Witcher 3 sees Henry Cavill’s visage introduced as the main character Geralt of Rivia.

This ties in with Cavill’s on-screen portrayal of the monster slayer in Netflix’s forthcoming series The Witcher, and as reported by Eurogamer, players can even change Geralt’s hair as it grows.

Those black eyes – not too dissimilar from Kaecilius in Doctor Strange are also available.

This interesting modification has been described as “a base for different Henry Cavill variations in the future. With scars, dirt, brown hair with blue eyes etc.”

Maybe it’s time to crack out that four-year-old game then?

Meanwhile, the first trailer for Cavill’s show was released last month at San Diego Comic-Con, giving fans of the literary and video game franchise a good look at his very different type of superhero.

Step aside Clark Kent.

The synopsis is as follows: “Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.”

The Witcher is coming to Netflix internationally later this year.
