The Sims 4 fans have been enjoying the release of the newest expansion Discover University, but this week anyone can also help to decide what will be in the next Stuff Pack.

Developer Maxis has opened up a vote asking all players to rank a list of potential themes and gameplay features – with the most popular choices guaranteed to be part of the pack.

The survey can be accessed through the game’s home screen (see below) or via this link.

The five themes in the vote are Arts & Crafts, Science & Technology, Fun-Tech, Self-Care Routines, and Happy Haunts.

For Arts & Crafts, potential hobbies include cross-stitching, knitting, pottery, and edible art. Science & Technology could add features such as STEM kits and a portable telescope for astronomy.

Fun-Tech ideas include a virtual putting green, a cycling machine, and a portable hologram where players can customise their virtual best friend.

Self-Care Routines could add a vegan trait, a fitness watch, and a healthy living aspiration. And Happy Haunts offers the possibility of a seance table and freelance careers in ghost hunting and being a Grim Reaper.

Once the theme of the Stuff Pack has been decided, players will be able to decide on the style of clothing and objects as well as the name and icon of the pack.

This isn’t the first time the developer has asked the community for input on a Stuff Pack.

In 2018, The Sims 4 released a community-voted Laundry Day Stuff Pack, which added functioning washing machines and tumble dryers to the game in addition to rustic clothing and objects.
