An official survey for The Sims 4 has provided hints about a number of features and future content being considered.

Little is known about what developer Maxis is planning for this year aside from two Stuff Packs (Tiny Living is coming next week, while a community-voted Arts & Crafts-themed pack is also in progress), but the newly-released survey asks fans to rate their enthusiasm for various potential gameplay ideas.

Interestingly, the possibility of both staying at and running a hotel resort are both mentioned (running a hotel would involve caring for guests and managing employees).

There is one section in the survey dedicated to snow activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and mountain climbing.

The survey also suggests several potential features centred on Sims’ relationships, such as introducing compatibility, personal history, and new relationship types (‘bromance’ is given as an example).

Digital Spy recently ran its own (unofficial) poll asking players what packs they would like to see in 2020. Hotels was the highest-rated option, ahead of school life, diverse worlds, and farming. Winter activities came in 14th – you can see the full results here.

Meanwhile, Tiny Living looks set to introduce a new death to the game with the addition of the fold-down wall bed. The Stuff Pack launches January 21 on PC and Mac and February 4 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
