The Sims 4 has confirmed the winning art style for the community-voted and knitting-focused Arts & Crafts Stuff Pack following a vote over the Christmas holidays.

Late last month, developer Maxis opened up a vote to determine which of three potential art style options – Granny Chic, Cozy Craft Workshop, and DIY Delight – will be used to, as Maxis previously explained, “guide our concept artists in the objects and clothing they create”.

If you need a refresher on what the art styles looked like, the concept art for all three can be found here. Voting closed on Friday, January 3.

So what did the community go for in the end?

Congratulations to DIY Delight for getting the most votes!

As a bonus, producer Dave Miotke confirmed on Twitter that there will be “plenty of colour swatches to choose from”, just in case you don’t like the pastel look.

The next vote will come in late January, with fans deciding which Create-a-Sim items they would like in the Stuff Pack. Then, in March, a vote will open to decide on the featured objects.

Finally, a pack name and pack icon vote will take place in April.

The Arts & Crafts-themed content isn’t the only Stuff Pack that’s being planned. Earlier this week, EA announced The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff Pack, which will include a range of objects suitable for small builds.

It also sounds like Tiny Living will add a new death, among other things.

Also being rolled out this year is the gallery for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The console version of the gallery will be cross-platform with the PC/Mac version.

Digital Spy recently ran a poll asking players what packs they would like to see in 2020. Hotels, school life, diverse worlds, and farming were among the most popular options – you can see the full results here.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
