The Sims 4 has officially announced its latest expansion – and this one has been one of the most-requested by fans for years.
Yes, The Sims 4 is finally going to university with The Sims 4: Discover University, as seen in the first-look trailer. And it’s coming to PC and Mac on Friday, November 15 and Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Tuesday, December 17.
The new expansion will let your Sims enrol in college at the University of Britechester or the Foxbury Institute, as well as enjoying extracurricular activities around campus. Sims can sign up for a range of classes, from biology and art history to villainy.

By attending lectures and completing term papers and presentations, Sims will boost their grades which, in turn, will help them in their future careers when they graduate.
They can also blow off classes and take advantage of the more sociable side of university, potentially damaging their grades and future prospects if their time is not managed correctly.
Players have the option to live in dorm rooms as well as explore the student commons and school organisations (such as debate, robotics, and a mysterious secret society), while bicycles are a new addition to the game.
And, as expected, there are a range of new hairstyles, clothing, and build items, including sweatpants and a mini-fridge.
Discover University follows a strong summer for The Sims 4 which has included Realm of Magic and Island Living. Free updates have also added Pride content, Muslim-inspired clothing and hijabs, and configurable stairs in recent months.
