Sony fans around the world have finally had their patience rewarded with an official release date of the hotly-anticipated game The Last of Us: Part 2.
We got an extended trailer, more details and – most importantly – pre-orders went live on one of the hottest games of 2020.
Not only that but some retailers have launched extra-special Collector’s Editions of the game, which are jam-packed full of extra in-game content and real-world bonuses, perfect for hardcore fans of the series.
The Last of Us is a Sony exclusive (sorry Xbox gamers) and has risen to become pretty much synonymous with the PlayStation. Acclaimed by both critics and fans, if you haven’t yet played the first game, you are seriously doing yourself a disservice.
We had our suspicions confirmed when Sony revealed the release dat in a trailer during the PlayStation livestream this week, announcing The Last of Us: Part 2 will be hitting consoles on February 21.
And you can get yours in the post immediately from GAME, who have opened up pre-orders – though they are a smidge pricey.
First up, the Collector’s Edition or all you super fans out there. This has a lot in it so bare with us.
The Collector’s Edition costs £159.99 exclusively from GAME and has a huge amount of extra content packed into it.
It’s a huge bundle for those who just *HAVE* to get everything about this game.
The Collector’s Edition will be shipped out on February 21 – just the casual 149 days from now then…
You can get the Standard Edition of the game for £54.99 too, which just includes the full game on its own.
We still have a long way to go until we can get our hands on the new Naughty Dog game, but at least we can guarantee our copy now!
