Spider-Man: Far From Home actor Tom Holland has admitted that his relationship with Robert Downey Jr is “a little creepy”. Eek.

The Peter Parker actor is undoubtedly very close with the Iron Man star, though he recently explained why his Far From Home co-star Jake Gyllenhaal is actually his favourite MCU bromance.

“Well, me and Downey aren’t a bromance, we’re like a father-son-mance, which is a little creepy,” Holland told Entertainment Tonight. “[So] it would have to be Jake.”

Of course, we know that Holland and Downey Jr have a strong relationship, the latter recently sending the Spidey actor a sweet birthday message.

However, Holland and Gyllenhaal are pretty close too – so much that the bromance actually caused problems while filming Far From Home.

“Sometimes they would crack each other up, and we could not get through takes occasionally,” director Jon Watts said. “It was a problem!”

Speaking about his co-star, Holland explained: “If you look at any interview I’ve ever done prior to this movie and someone asked me, ‘Who would you work with if you could work with any actor?’ I would’ve said Jake Gyllenhaal.

“And when I found out it was him, I was stoked, but also really nervous. But Jake absolutely was more than I ever could have expected.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released on July 2. Spider-Man: Homecoming is out now on Digital Download, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
