If you’re an Android user, 2020 is shaping up to be a wonderful time for you as Samsung has just announced its new line-up of Galaxy smartphones to keep you interested.

The new phones look incredibly powerful in their own right, but they do cost a pretty penny, which might put you off if you’re looking to save a few quid.

Which is why it’s so important to realise that Samsung has actually dropped the prices of their old S10 handsets to make it more affordable to join the Galaxy club – or upgrade to a Samsung if you’re a fan.

This means that the Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e are all now way cheaper than before, which is perfect timing if you’re on the look out for a new handset.

Obviously we are just talking about the total upfront cost of the handset itself – network costs for contracts and data allowances remain competitive, but if you want to just buy the phone completely outright it’s way cheaper.

For example, if you head over to the official Samsung store right now, you’ll see some big price drops on the older phones, with the budget S10e as low as £499.

This is an immensely low price considering how powerful the S10e still is (it was one of our favourite handsets and one of the most powerful phones of the 2019 market, despite it being one of the more stripped-back Galaxy devices).

That’s the new price – reduced from £699 – on the official website right now, and you’ll get 128GB of internal storage and you can even choose your own preferred colour – fancy.

Need a bit of oomph from your smartphone? The Galaxy S10 is also reduced from £899 down to £669 right now. The S10 was among one of the very best handsets from last year, and to see it priced so low on Samsung’s official website now is impressive.

Meanwhile, for those of you with massive hands – or those who want a large screen for gaming – you could go for the Samsung Galaxy S10+, which has also dropped below £1,000 and now costs just £769.

If the S10 series is just not modern enough for you though, we have written all about how to pre-order the Galaxy S20 smartphones and the Galaxy Z Flip handset, which you can check out now.
