We may be waving goodbye to Black Friday, but O2 is still in the spirit of giving with this new offer.

The service provider announced today (December 5) the launch of O2 Extras, offering memberships to Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music Unlimited and Audible.

Customers can also choose from add-ons such as Cafeyn, a digital news stand with access to the most popular UK and international magazines. Through O2 Extras, you could save £23.97 on a three-month subscription, and £47.94 on a six-month subscription.

You can also listen to live music in virtual reality with MelodyVR. A three-month subscription will save you £38.97, while a six-month subscription will save you £77.94.

Amazon Audible

O2 Extra also offers International bolt-ons. For monthly contracts on 5GB or over, you can pay just £1 per month for 36 months, saving you £72.

Those with 30GB monthly contracts and over can get theirs absolutely free for 36 months, saving £108.

O2 Extras offers increased flexibility and affordability by allowing customers to choose the upfront cost of their phone, select their contract length (from 3 to 36 months) and adjust their data allowance every month.

O2’s chief marketing officer Nina Bibby, said: “O2 already helps you make the most of your social life with Priority tickets to the biggest and best gigs, but we want to make sure we’re helping our customers make the most of their downtime too.”

“With O2 Extras, our customers can get even more from their tariff with a range of amazing services and features to suit them. There’s something for everyone, including movies, magazines, music and TV. And we’ll be adding even more exciting new offers over the coming months.”

“The services are all managed through the MyO2 platform, meaning there’s no extra admin involved in enjoying your chosen O2 extra.”

O2 Extras is available to new and upgrading O2 pay monthly customers on handset, tablet and SIM only contracts.
