The Premier League returns to our screens in just over a month from now, and if you’re a football fan, you’re going to want to get BT Sport to catch as much of the weekend’s action as you can.
Luckily, EE is offering a massive deal to current customers, giving them a free Apple 4K TV and access to 18 months BT Sport if you buy Home Broadband with them.
This is an exclusive offer to people who already have a mobile contract with EE, but if you’re signed up and pay monthly anyway, you could unlock 4K movies and sport as well as a faster internet speed – two birds with one stone.
The deal applies to any broadband deal you get, so you can pick the best deal for you.
To get access to this offer, you have to be an EE pay monthly customer who is on either a 12 or 24 month contract, and you have to be signing up to a new broadband plan.
The bonus is that if you end up leaving your EE contract, either because it’s ended or you’ve simply had enough, your BT Sport access will continue until your Broadband deal has expired.
You can check your postcode to see what kind of speeds and availability you have in your area to see if EE broadband is worth your time.
The Apple TV 4K gives you access to apps lie BBC iPlayer, BT Sport, Netflix, ITV Hub and YouTube, all in 4K, as well as a huge library of films and TV shows from iTunes and the Apple TV App.
You’ll need to have a 4K TV to get the full power of the Apple TV 4K, but it is perfect for watching all the Premier League action in ultra HD when the new season starts in August.
There are five broadband packages you can sign up to:
Standard Broadband: This gives you average download speeds of 10Mb/s and is the basic package. There are no set-up costs but it will cost you £22 a month over an 18-month contract.
This is not really enough for you to stream 4K content on – you need upwards of 25Mb/s to get the most out of that resolution.
As with all these broadband deals though, you get an extra 5GB of data added onto your mobile data plan as a bonus to signing up.
Fibre Broadband: You get average download speeds of 36Mb/s with this package, with no up-front set-up fee for £28 a month. This is more than enough for 4K streaming and can easily handle multiple users downloading content at the same time.
Fibre Plus Broadband: This one has 67Mb/s average download speeds which is great if you spend a lot of time online, downloading content or gaming. You can get an 18-month contract on this for £32 a month with no set-up fee.
Fibre Max 1 Broadband: You can get a whopping 145Mb/s with this package which is more than 14 times faster than the standard broadband package. You will have no problems downloading as much content as you want on this deal, and 4K streaming will be ultra smooth.
This will cost you £41 a month with no set-up fee. You also get an extra 20GB of data added to your mobile contract with this offer.
Fibre Max 2 Broadband: Finally, you can get this frankly ridiculous package that has average download speeds of 300Mb/s with EE.
Gaming, 4K streaming and downloading content will be insanely fast on this package, though it will cost you £48 a month across an 18-month contract.
As with the last offer, you get a bonus 20GB of data added onto your mobile contract, too.
All of EE’s broadband packages offer unlimited downloads, with no data caps, so you wont have to worry about watching or downloading too much.
