September has finally arrived, meaning it’s time to get stuck into another year of Ultimate Team action with FIFA 20.
The most popular football game is coming to all consoles, and, if you’ve been itching to strap your virtual boots on and get stuck in, you can now get a little taster of what to expect from the game as the demo is now available to download and play.
You can hop on to your Xbox One, PS4 or PC and download the demo to play ahead of time, with the chance to check out some of the brand new Volta mode with a 3v3 game in Amsterdam, or battle it out in a UEFA Champions League Final in the obligatory “Kick-Off” mode demo.
The demo is free to download straight away, and you’ll only need a few GB storage to hold the game. The full game is coming to a console near you on September 24, so you only have two weeks to wait.
FIFA 20 looks to be a super exciting addition to the series, with a bunch of new modes, more stadiums, better graphics and gameplay and the incredibly popular and addictive FIFA Ultimate Team mode making a return.
As mentioned, the demo will be a stripped-down version of the full game, but you’ll get to hop into Volta mode, which will instantly transport us to our childhood and the hours of fun we had with FIFA Street. The mode will let you build a team of three of your favourite players to take to the streets of Amsterdam.
In a cage-pitch in a dirty, dark underpass, you will pick between Vinicius Jr’s team or the Street Kings in an all-out street battle. Best start practicing that Rainbow Flick then.
The Kick-Off mode will let you choose to play as Chelsea, Dortmund, Liverpool, PSG, Real Madrid or Tottenham at, oddly enough, the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Barcelona.
FIFA 20 releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on September 24.
