For the first time in the history of FIFA, gamers can now choose to have a female manager in the upcoming FIFA 20.
Playing in Career Mode, you’ll have fully customisable avatars, where you can choose the gender, body type and skin tone of your manager, as well as pick out clothing and hairstyles. Up until now, there was only ever male avatars to choose from.
It’s a big move forward – and a long-awaited one – for the gaming giant, who first introduced female national teams with FIFA 16.
But, with the popularity of women’s football on the rise, this may well be something that might be a future addition to the yearly release.
As well as all the usual aspects of the game, there will be a new street football mode – Volta Football – which looks awesome, where you can play anywhere.
You can create your own player, both female and male, and battle it out to be the best street player – this is one step closer to having more female players out there.
FIFA 20 will be out on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on September 27.
