Well, we’re happy to say that Far From Home does indeed go back to the MCU tradition of having both a mid-credits and a post-credits scene. As with the majority of Marvel’s credits scenes, one is a set-up teaser for future movies and the other is (mostly) a gag.
But you won’t find any spoilers here until after the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 2. Sorry about that.
Originally, it was thought that Far From Home would be the first movie of Phase 4, before it was repositioned as the final movie of Phase 3.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has recently explained the move by saying that along with the two Avengers movies, Far From Home was one of the movies “culminating the entire Infinity Saga of the MCU”.

“The relationship between Peter Parker and Tony Stark is so special over the five films that Tom Holland has portrayed Spider-Man in the MCU, that we needed to see where his journey went, and see how does Spider-Man step out of the shadow of his mentor Tony Stark and become the true hero that he was always meant to be,” he said.
“It’s for that reason that Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home are essentially two pieces of the same story, and it’s not over yet until Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
