It’s been another very profitable year for the stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but someone by the name of Dwayne Johnson appears to have pipped them to number one on the Rich List.

We previously reported on how much each Avengers: Endgame performer tucked into their pockets from the movie – Thor himself Chris Hemsworth besting the rest with $76.4m – but according to Forbes, Johnson has actually raked in exactly $13m more than that.

For those math whizzes out there, that’s $89.4m just between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019.

The Hobbs & Shaw action hero collected an upfront salary of around $23.5m for this year’s forthcoming threequel Jumanji: The Next Level, whilst he also usually pockets up to 15 per cent of the box-office pool from money magnets such as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Meanwhile, Johnson also welcomes $700,000 per episode for his role in the HBO series Ballers – a disgracefully honest title don’t you think?
